Do I need to create an account?add
No. The free tier is fully anonymous, no signup required. Install the extension and the scores appear. Accounts only exist for Starter ($9) and Pro ($49) where you get a personal API key, higher daily limits, and historical data.
Does it work on Brave, Edge, Arc, and Opera?add
Yes. Every Chromium-based browser installs Chrome Web Store extensions natively. The same install link works in Brave, Edge, Arc, Opera, and any other Chromium fork. We test on Chrome and Brave on every release.
What does BlackHart see about me?add
Only the URLs of the supported DeFi and prediction-market sites you visit, and only on the explicit allow-list shipped with the extension. We never read page contents, never see your wallet addresses, and never see your transactions. The full permission justifications are listed during install and on /privacy/extension.
What is a 'lookup'?add
Any time the extension fetches a fresh BRI score from our API. Cached scores within the protocol-map (refreshed every six hours) don't count. In normal browsing that's about 50-200 lookups per day, well below the free 1,000/day allowance.
What happens if I hit the free monthly cap?add
The extension still works — scores you've already seen stay cached locally — but new lookups will pause until the next calendar month. The popup will surface a one-click upgrade prompt when you're close to the cap.
How do I get the Pro REST API after I subscribe?add
Sign in to your BlackHart account at /sign-in, create an API key in the dashboard, and paste it into the extension's options page. Direct REST calls to /api/v1/* work with that key from any client. Webhooks and historical data are unlocked automatically.
